Slightly dryer than other Single ply heads

Aquarian texture coated heads are perfect for players that want an open full sound without too much overtones. They are very similar to Coated Emperors, but a little less "Wet" and do not require as much muffling to get your desired sound. The quality is excellent, no matter how many times you buy this head, the consistency is amazing, I have never got a dud head from the texture coated range.

Highly recommended.

Fantastic coating

I bought this drum head specially because of the coating and was instantly amazed when I pulled it out of the box. It feels really coarse and works fantastically with brushes, but when I apply my sticks they don't leave a mark. The sound was really great, and I was able to produce the vintage sound that I wanted and needed. There was no trouble tuning it, and it was ready in no time at all.
All in all I was very much satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone in need of a "ringy" vintage drum sound.

Fantástico parche, el rugoso es súper duradero y el parche también para afinaciones altas tipo jazz es perfecta y también para medio bajas como funk o rock sesentero. Tono oscuro, pero con mucho overtone y armónicos en afinaciones altas pero al bajar el tono encuentras una nota definida con mucho cuerpo a la vez que definido. No lo compraría si busco un sonido mas de medios para micrófono cercano. Muy recomendable.

La série de peaux Aquarian Texture Coated en simple pli a un son très similaire à la série Ambassador Coated de Remo. Je la recommande vivement, pour son faible prix et son son de qualité qui s'adapte a tout style musical.

J'utilise cette peau 16" depuis maintenant plusieurs mois, elle est toujours impeccable, le revêtement blanc n'a même pas commencé à s'enlever (pourtant je frappe plutôt fort, mes voisins en témoigneront).
