Great snare head

This is my favorite snare drum head at the moment. It has a great sound that I think is livelier and louder than a Remo CS, but that is still more controlled than a head with no reinforcement dot. I use it on brass snares and love the sound of it, especially when playing rimshots. Very heavy hitters may want to look for another head, as the non-reinforced parts of the head seem to be fairly thin. I myself have broken one while playing the drum hard outside the center dot. I highly recommend it for lighter to moderate playing, however.

Top notch metal sound

If you're looking for a metal snare head then do not hesitate and go for the Aquarian 14" Texture Coated Power Dot. Crazy shit, nothing more nothing less.

My default snare head to go. Response + durability + AWESOME coating.

Update: after 1 year of frequent use (rehersals, gigs, rented out several times) a spot of worn coating about 1-1.5cm appeared in the center of the head. I'm a kind of heavy hitter.

I think I can play the same head for another six months without any sound issues.
