O
Nice sound
Frets are not perfectly intune. A little dissapointing. Intonations for hours and its still off in the sound.
But a really nice guitar.

Best ever
I purchased this guitar after my 1980's model Westbury stopped working and thought I would treat myself. I looked up many makes and models and found the Pacifica 311 had consistently good reviews ( I couldn't find a negative one). Quite simply it is the best guitar I have ever bought. It is easy to play, has a great tone (even unplugged ) and Yamahas own pickups are more than adequate for a wide range of tones. I even bought new strings prior to purchase expecting the factory fitted ones to be substandard but they are absolutely fine and the Grover locking nuts keep a very good tuning even after string bending.
I would recommend this guitar to beginners and professionals alike.
