One of a Kind
This Guitar is really One of a Kind! The Sound, the Quality and the detailed finish are that of a 2k-3k Euro Instrument. The Sound is simply amazing!!! I replaced my FG720 with this FG830 and boy let me tell you, it is a whole new League!!.. You just wanna play and play and play again.
Seriously Yamaha and the FG830 is proof and quality instruments, don't need to be expensive!!.. There is no excuse for why other manufacturers price their models so high with sometimes less the sound quality of this Yamaha..
I need to mentioned the smooth conclusion and fast delivery of my order, with Thomann. Reliable as always and from packaging, communication, till the delivery.
If some of you flirt with the thought of purchasing one, don't believe any review blindly, go out to a music store and try this master piece out, see for yourself, and then come back and put your order through.

Worth the money
Massive improvement over the f310 I was comparing to, much fuller and detailed sound, resonance and build quality and feel is exceptional.

Beats most rival brands until you spend €2–3k
What sets Yamaha apart from other big-name brands is that even their budget lines are precise and well made—including the parts the user never sees, where the build quality stays high. Worth watching the Driftwood Guitar YouTube channel, where they cut open an FG830 to show this. One downside: the strap button (end pin) is plastic and not easily swapped if you want to fit strap locks. The one on the neck is held by a screw, but the other isn't.
