I have been using this rosin for almost a year and have been very happy with it. It instantly improved the tone compared with the old, cheap rosin I had been using and has continued to do a good job. The quality of the cloth wrap could be better, but this has no bearing on the rosin itself.

Great for my viola
This rosin has a bit more grip then my previous (light) rosin and makes drawing out the sound a bit easier. My viola sounds a bit more defined and gritty which suits my taste/playing.
