Excellent sounding pedal
The pedal sounds great. It has become a staple in my pedal board. Like any "clone" it can be used as a standalone drive, a clean push or a solo boost. The midrange character it adds is very pleasing. Also, the added 3-band EQ and hot mode makes it a bit more versatile than many other pedals of its kin without straying too far from its inspiration.
However, out of the box mine had a problem with the buffer switch on the side of the pedal. If I understood correctly from Youtube demos you are supposed to be able to simply push the switch on or off. Mine gets stuck in the "on" position - if I need to switch the button off I need to remove the back of the pedal to be able to pull the switch back to "off" position. This is annoying, but since the buffer switch is a "set and forget" type of control this hasn't bothered me enough to replace the pedal.
