No more time consuming,malodourous mixing,warming and worrying this is as easy to use as standard titebond with better "grab" and a touch of gap filling.
Its quite stiff,excellent from the point of view of limiting squeeze out but for some applications you might choose to warm it slightly to make it slightly runnier.
It tends to stay "rubbery" longer than "boiled" hide glue,presumably due to the inhibiter...I leave overnight before any strain and about 48 hrs for bridge/neck resets.
Shelf life is about 12 months....write the date on the bottle when you open it...as it approaches its end of life,test glue some scrap the day before.
You can apparently decant and freeze it if you only use small amounts at a time but I've not tried that!
Finally,if you are eco-minded,once its expired dilute the remains considerably and use as fertiliser,its nitrogen rich!

Easy to use Hide Glue
I have use it to fix open seams on violins, and it is very easy to use and strong enough. It was dry in 24 hours and have nice looking joints. I don't use it often so maybe this is to big bottle for me, but if you do more work it will hold for some time. I like idea that you don't have to prepare hot glue and that you can use is right away from the bottle. Easy to apply and store. Joints are holding and you can use it safe and secure and almost all joints. For super strong joints you may use traditional hide glue.

Works great!
Needed to repair and reglue the fingerboard on an electric upright double bass, worked well, good to use, easy to clean up the excess and sticking tight.
