Decent Value, But Questionable Material Quality

This microphone pouch is, at first glance, a reasonably priced accessory that gets the basic job done. For the cost, it offers a simple and functional solution for storing and protecting a microphone during transport or storage, which makes it a fairly acceptable purchase if budget is the primary concern.

However, the overall impression is significantly weakened by the quality of the materials used. It lacks the sturdiness and durability you would expect even in this price range, which raises concerns about long-term reliability. Also, the surface of the product feels a bit sticky and unpleasant to hold.

Another issue worth mentioning is the presence of a rather unpleasant, unusual smell when the pouch is new. The odor is quite noticeable and gives an impression of low-grade manufacturing materials. While it may fade over time, it detracts from the initial user experience and does not inspire confidence in the product’s quality.

In summary, while the pouch is not expensive and can serve its basic purpose adequately, compromises in material quality and the presence of odd odors make it difficult to fully recommend beyond very casual use.

Perfect for an AKG D112.

Great for a kick drum mic. Using mine for an AKG D112. Difficult to say much about the quality or longevity of the pouch, but it will certainly stop my mic getting scratched and scraped in the general gear box.

Perfect fit for a bass drum mic. AKG D112 is sold with no bag, so this one is perfect add on for no money. Looks and feels sturdy.
