While I love Techra Colossus sticks, I don't like these as much. The rubber tip is OK on mesh heads (I do not hear any volume difference between carbon fiber, wood or these though), but it just feels weird on both rubber and low volume metal cymbals. It is unplayable on a practice pad with rubber cover.

bad sticks
in total, i have received 4 of these sticks. they all broke at the tips within a houwer of playing.
