Bought it with the intention in of getting a ”poor mans tone king imperial”
In other words i got the tone king module with it.
Its overall very easy to handle and packed with features.
The built in clean channel sounds great, very open sounding. The tone king module is more middy and more options to sculpt the sound. They both sound great and handle pedals great!! Well….on low wolume tht is. When cranking the amp i felt it sounded a bit too harsch and hard. Most tube amps get more sensitive and open when turning up the wolume but not this. I also tried pushing it by using some boosts and low gain pedals n didnt really work Well.
Overall-sounds great at low wolumes and as a recording device, maybe not so much in a live situation using a cab. Maybe works better just out the house PA, havent tried tht.
