Great keyboard for home and stage
Bought this to replace a Nord Stage 3 Compact, with the hope that the new TP/110 keybed would give a good weighted piano feel, since I mainly use electric and acoustic piano sounds. Was ready to sacrifice the numerous control knobs and organ and synth engines of the NS3.
I'm very happy with it. The keys are a joy to play, the sounds are very good (pianos, eps) or good (organs, strings, synths etc.), and the user interface is amazingly good with the colour coding, layering, intuitive controls and effects. It is not a sound tweaker's keyboard, but a player's versatile tool. The audio inputs and USB audio interface are nice bonuses (I've used a dynamic vocal mic and a stereo guitar – a XLR input with 48 V would be even better).
For gigs, it's quite easy to build setlists, either on the keyboard or using the Numa Manager software. Live playing works well, with just the right amount af controls for adjusting sounds, balances etc. in real time. New sounds are downloadable from the Studiologic website (same as Nord).
The price is very competitive. This one is a keeper.
