Works like a charm on slides with big tolerances or worn surfaces. If I apply Trombotine sparingly all over the inners, assemble the slide, work it in and then wipe the inner slides clean (seems odd) I get even my oldest slides moving like new with some water sprayed on the inners. Not as lightning fast on newer or tighter slides as for example Slide O mix or Yamaha.
A tube of Trombotine lasts for a really long time.

I use it for my historical slide trumpet and it has just enough substance to fill up the (larger than usual) tolerance between the tubes, giving a good seal as well as a very smooth action of the slides. Very happy with it!
