Great IEC socket plug for DIY power cables
Good quality inexpensive IEC socket plug for all the DIY people who need to make their own power cables to desired length.
I recommend using 3 x 1,5mm2 power cable. The socket sleeve needs a bit of fiddling or modification to fit larger diameter cable. 3 x 2,5mm2 cable will be too big to work with.

The plug doesn't stay put in the connector as the shape isn't optimal and the plastic is too hard.
