Will be brief... this is an AMAZING amp. It will make you play and sound more like you than you can imagine. It will bring your expressiveness out in ways that will surprise you. Great tones can be achieved and rolling the volume on the guitar gets you into magical places, also due to a very low noise level for these types of 100W amps. Very good and I now understand the boutique price point. These amps are really good. There is indeed a dB jump between clean and crunch mode on that channel but you get used to it. I just use the crunch channel and roll the volume down to get more tones, so... old school playing here.
For this price, it would have been nice to access the clean, crunch and lead tones on a foot pedal, because we are in Mesa Boogie price area here and those offer way more features than the Soldano but tonewise, it's up there with them.

Bucket list amp
This amp was everything I was hoping for and more the tone is epic! Obviously purchased for the gain but a seriously good clean as well. It’s taken a while to save for this and I have zero regrets, perfect.

Straight forward amplifier
The crunch mode is super good. Clean is normal but you don’t buy this amp for clean.
