I am using this mic on the hi hat. It is pretty good at rejecting what it is not pointed at. Great detailed sound, build quality is very good too.

Very good for the price
I bought this mic after watching a comparison video on youtube. The guy was ab-ing them against a Neumann small condenser. I was intrigued.
I use it on acoustic guitar, it does very well. The sound is defined. They feel sturdy. I'm really happy with my purchase.

Best small diaphragm mics for this price
For £100 there's basically no better choice, get as many as you can! I got 2, gonna get 2 or maybe 4 more.

For this price? Best all-round small diaphragm condenser on the market in my opinion.

Good budget mic
I've tried different budget SMCs, starting from the cheapest and working my way up the prices.
I have a bunch of more expensive mics to compare them against. I was looking for more affordable ones to expand my mic count without breaking the bank too hard.
The SE7 and SE8 are the ones I settled for. That is, the least expensive mics that don't sound like compromises.
