Näppärä kevyt kaapelikela.

Kaapelin paksuudella on sitten väliä. 12,0mm paksua neliparikaapelia mahtuu juuri ja juuri tuo ilmoitetut 20 metriä. Olisi ehkä pitänyt ostaa astetta järeämpi mutta kyllä tällä pärjää. Kela on tarpeeksi pieni ja kevyt roudattavaksi ja sopii hyllyyn. Jos ostaisin kelan nyt niin ainostaan normaalipaksuiselle <8,0mm mikkikaapelille. Paksuille multicore-kaapeleille sopii isompi ja raskaampi kela.

Sturdy and lightweight

We've got two of these drums and they're great for compact multicores. We use one for a 4-way 25m XLR cable and the other for a 72m 2-core fibre optic reel. The front plate brackets provide a bit of extra storage space. Because of the size things can get cramped e.g. when you're using your foot to hold it in place when retrieving the cable, and likewise the handle is on the small side. But it's a useful option when the next size up is too big.

Good quality and robust

I wanted a cable roll for a 50m XLR cable for a PA setup, and this is just perfect. You can roll out just what you need and there's a locking feature to prevent it from unravelling any more. A few metres of cable can be wound on the outside (so you can connect to the speaker without having to use another lead) and the rest is on the spool. It feels robust and good quality, as you'd expect from Schill.
