The sound is loud, and really good for rock! But not much else though.
Bought a 14" 16" and 18" AAXplosions since they seemed like quality, and cymbals that could take a pounding. After just a while though, two of the cymbals(16 & 18) cracked from the body (signs of manufacturing defect).
I sent some messages with thomann and they said they would send it to Sabian and then Sabian would determine wether it was their fault ( In which case they would send a new one for free ) , or someone elses ( In which case I would end up paying the postages to Canada ).
At the time I didnt have the money to send it and possibly end up paying if Sabian simply pointed the blame at me, so I just ended up with two broken cymbals with most likely manufacturing defects.
Would recomment Sabians bought used, since it appears defects are frequent, and they show up early.

Very good and versatile
It sounds good, washy and full-bodied. It's a bit spicier than studio cymbals and I find it good for accents.
This is also a very durable cymbal. All my cheap ones have cracked in under a year.
I've played all genres of music with this, and it just fits like a glove! Well worth the money, I say.
