Roland is quality
Great build quality and great sensitivity. The edge is soft and this helps to reduce acoustic noise when hitting hard. The amount of the noise is almost same dB's as the previous version but slightly higher frequency. It's thinner and lighter than the previous version but personally I don't find big difference.
The only cons is the price but I've tried some cheaper options and they are louder with compromised sensitivity and sometimes with low build quality issues so I came back to Roland's to replace the cheap ones.
