Not a lot of protection. Broke within a year
It does what it needs to do, but only temporary. Some straps broke after 8 months, making me not trust the bag for further use.
Also, the padding is quite light, so there's not a lot of protection going on

Not the most cushioned bag ever, but the price is great. solid build.
