Lightweight and very stable

I purchased these speaker stands together with two Bose S1 Pro powered speakers as part of my keyboard rig. They proved to be sturdy and supported the speakers safely. I found them to hold the speakers a bit high when mounted at their lowest level on the stands so I reduced the height by removing 8cm from the inner support tube which was a simple task due to the construction of the clamping arrangements. the result is a satisfactory speaker height with speakers safely located next to my keyboard. The air damping provides a smooth extension and collapsing action when raising and lowering the central tube and the locking pins ensure there would be no risk of failure.
Very good value and should last well against the rigors of gigging.

Didn't even last a year

I bought a pair of these for our school's PA system. They were for a pair of Behringer B215Ds and a pair of Yamaha DXR8s, so not even very heavy speakers. One of them still kind of works, the other would not stay put and the central pole would continuously sag when a speaker was on it, no matter what I tightened and how hard it was tightened. Since I don't want to use two different stands, I just went to my old beat up DIY stands. Would not buy again.
