Hyvä kalvo

T-mu 27.01.2019

Ostin tämän Yamahan 6,5" metallivirveliin Emperor Coated X yläkalvon kaveriksi. Saundista tuli tuhti ja tymäkkä.

Good when you need it

D_C 27.02.2014

For snare-side resonant heads the standard option is a Remo Ambassador or Evans Hazy 300, which are the ones to choose if in doubt. Occasionally I have found the thicker Remo Emperor (this one) or Evans Glass 500 is useful. On my very deep (14 x 10") snare it was a good choice for allowing very low tuning on both heads without too much snare buzz. I also found it useful with a tricky steel snare where I was looking to reduce resonant problems. However, when tuning another metal snare and at higher tunings it was not as appropriate as an Ambassador. Also note that some novices have confused a snare-side resonant head (the underneath one with the wires next to it) with a batter head (the top one that you hit). This is a resonant head.

Highly Recommended Head

Tuntematon 03.02.2015

If you are looking for a durable and universal sounding resonant head the Remo 14" Resonant Head is what you are looking for. Compared to the single ply design of the Ambassador Head from Remo, The Emperor Head provides extra depth and durability. Since the Remo Emperor is comprised of two plys of skins in its manufacturing process, It offers an unparalleled complexity of tone and a huge amount of volume. Compared to other competitive branded the Remo Emperor resonant head offers superb longevity when it comes to covering a wide variety of musical genres. Affordable, universal and durable the Remo Emperor Resonant is the ideal resonant head.

Durable and nice low sound

Notan Storm 08.02.2016

It is the most long played head on my drum set. Usually I tune low my snare drum 14x6.5. To achieve this goal I use thick Remo Emperor Head.
Pros: Good Price, durable, nice sound, easy to tune.
Cons: None, but... it isn't suitable for high tuned share.
Play hard, play low, play eternally with Remo Emperor Heads.
