Pure Nickel strings
I went for Pyramid Standard Jazz because pure nickel are somewhat mellower sounding and lower tension than cheaper nickel plated steel strings. These strings are indeed very good and yet affordable. However, I still returned to Thomastik Bebops which have still a more prestiguous feel to them, albeit for a lot more price.

Good basic strings
I used these strings on my Gibson SG. Works very well, no problems. For the price, good strings.
