Great sound and price to quality ratio
Using these in a small living room setup with a Dspeaker Anti-Mode X2D for room eq and subwoofer xo'd at 40Hz. As far as personal experiences go this is the best sound I've heard from active speakers so far. I've previously tried Genelec 8030A and Neumann KH120A.
A lot has been said about self noise but I didn't notice issues with a pad setting of -6dB using analog XLR inputs.
If these had digital s/pdif optical and coaxial inputs that would be the icing on the cake. Long term reliability remains also to be seen, but Palmer has a good reputation and the warranty period gives confidence.
