Shaft: Finely fluted slotted shaft (24 teeth for US guitars and potentiometer knobs)
Capacitors: One 150 Series Polyester 0.022µF
Switch: CRL 5-way Lever
Jack socket: Switchcraft 1/4" mono

Four modes:

Mode 1: SSS / 250k, for 3 single coils or most single coil format humbuckers
Mode 2: HSS / Intelligent Switching - automatically switches between 250k and 500k
Mode 3: HHH / 500k, for any pickup that needs more treble and output
Mode 0: HSH / Intelligent Switching (automatically switches between 250k and 500k), replaces the rear tone pot with a blender control that can be used to fade in either the neck or bridge pickup in certain combinations of the 5-way switch

Minulla on Obsidianin solderless telecasterissa ja nyt myös tämä stratoon. Mikkien vaihtelu käy kätevästi ilman pelkoa komponenttien polttamisesta tai kylmäjuotoksista. Jokainen kitara soi eri tavalla ja parhaiten sopivat mikit löytyvät vain kokeilemalla useita vaihtoehtoja. Yksikelaisia ja humbuckkereita voi sekoittaa samaan satsiin. Obsidian ST Universal Blender Harness mahdollistaa tämän helposti. Bonuksena blender-modi, joka mahdollistaa esim. talla- ja kaulamikkien käyttämisen yhtäaikaa. Se on telessä toimivaksi todettu komppi-moodi.

I recommend the Gotaco. It’s a must-have mod for a Stratocaster; you gain two extra tones with it. It’s very easy to install and doesn’t require a soldering iron. Plus, you can upgrade the pickups yourself without needing a guitar tech. I’m super happy with it.

Zunächst war ich recht angetan, von dieser einfachen lötfreien Lösung.
Leider stellte sich heraus, dass die Zwischenpositionen, also 2 und 4 nicht akzeptabel funktionieren. Hier kommt nur ein dünner, unbrauchbarer Ton zustande. Somit für mich unbrauchbar. Sowas dürfte eigentlich nicht verkauft werden. Sorry Thomann, dass geht garnicht.
Viel Geld für Nichts.

Acquistato per semplificare il lavoro nei cambi di PU su una strat laboratorio, reso perchè gli alberini dei potenziometri hanno un fastidioso gioco e traballano ogni volta che si toccano, probabilmente ho beccato l'esemplare difettato.
Comunque servizio resi Thomann impeccabile.
