Screwing in a boom arm is a lot like making love to a beautiful woman...
Whilst it integrates well with the screw thread on the stand, I found that the self-tapping nut underneath wasn't the tightest so I super-glued it into place. Mounting and dismounting the boom arm whilst rigging for gigs is easy although you have to ensure there's a tight grip (kyak).
