Broke after a year
When new it sounded and looked great. White color started turning yellowish but that gave it even cooler vintage vibe. Sadly the cable developed nasty scratching sound in little over a year and died completely soon after. I used it only in my home studio.
I tried to resolder a new connector to the straight plug. Didn't work. I suspect the inner wire was broken somewhere in the middle of the coil. The inner copper is quite thin and has thin multiple copper wires running straight. The outer shield wire seems to be pretty robust and thick with web like structure. The coil design makes the cable pretty heavy and tends to pull it downwards when plugged in an instrument. Thomann doesn't offer warranty for this cable. Kirlin warranty is 1 year.
