JHS Pedals 3 Series Compressor

I've recently got into the world of analog synths and I wanted to get some hardware effects instead of software effects. I bought this mainly for my Behringer Poly D synth. Some would think it's unnecessary because the synth doesn't give very much differ in terms of sound velocity but I think this is a perfect match especially with synth bass sounds. I use it more like a transient shaper. It can make very punchy or snappy bass sounds with it or bring the tail of a sound more present. I also like the simplicity of it. It has only three knobs and a switch. Last I want to mention to remember to use high-quality cables with this. I used one cheap cable and the hiss noise was very loud. I then switched to a better quality cable and the hiss was gone.
