The best profiler
This small unit does profiling better than more expensive ones. In my honest opinion its the best capturing / profiling pedal on the market. It manages to capture the sound and feel of the amp really well. Using the software on pc is also very, very easy and you get acces to 3rd party captures in tonenet easily. It doesnt have much build in effects but you can just put it to another multifx units effect loop. Im using it with hx fx and that combination is mind blowing. It is just so awesome how much you get when you buy this.

Tonex
The build seems sturdy and the pedal works extremely well for my purpose (as amp model in pedal form within my pedalboard among analog pedals). The pedal itself seems not to have certain effects e.g. delay, but that is fine by me as I have those pedals after Tonex. Capturing a real amp works extremely well. I cannot compate to QC or other products having similar properties, but Tonex gets really close. The computation time is rather long with the most detailed option (8h with my computing power), but more manageable with the default option (~1h). I guess that is one downside for getting an accurate capture. Tonex is really bang for the buck so to speak. The app could use some work to make it more user friendly along with some additions, but it is good that this part is separate of the actual product so IK can and should work with that.

Sounds good, but lacking essential features
If you are planning to use this live, then beware that this doesn't have any good EQ capabilities. No high cut or low cut whatsoever... Which is astonishing oversight in digital amp modelling world. The Tonex software, from which pedal this originated from, doesn't have them either, but it is not a problem in DAW environment. But try to go live with a crippled EQ capability and you'll cry bitter tears. And IK Multimedia doesn't listen to feedback. High cut is absolutely essential in any live amp modelling device.
Even if you are planning to combine this with something like HX Effects etc that has the EQ:s that this is lacking, it gets very complicated programming patches like that, when the obvious solution is that they should be included in the Tonex amp profile settings. Ideally you would step on the footswitch and it would switch also to the appropriate high cut for that particular amp profile. Now you would have to do overly complicated midi integrations or step-dancing on your pedalboard to activate an amp there and EQ somewhere else. It's a shame, cause the amp profiling sounds good.

Focus on essentials
I had planned to buy either Kemper or Quad Cortex for my home studio to upgrade guitar sound from previous Line6 HD500X. When I saw video about this, it was no brainer for me. The same sound quality as the rivals have by spending 1/4 of the money. It does everything I need it to do in the studio and I'm thinking to give it a go in my live rig pedalboard too.
