The stand is solid, and the arm should be able to hold phones and tablets of most sizes. Arm clamps are extendable, with a spring mechanism, they hold e.g. a phone firmly in place. Also, the arm screw mount is compatible with 1/4" and 3/8" threads, so you can use it with variety of photo/film studio tripods and light stands as well. In short, another solid product from Hercules.
