Great Value for the Price
The ST-Modern Plus delivers excellent tone across all pickup positions. The frets are smoothly rounded, making bends and vibrato very comfortable, and the overall fit and finish look premium. Build quality feels solid and reliable, with no sharp edges or rough spots. The tremolo bridge is smooth, stable, and easy to use, outstanding value and performance.

Many quality issues...
The guitar has some merits, but I place a high value on a good, comfortable neck—one free of fret buzz—and this guitar disappointed me. The frets arrived significantly misaligned; using a fret rocker, it’s clear that Harley Benton lacks attention to detail. The back of the neck has several rough spots—some in the wood itself, others in the finish—which makes moving your hand along it uncomfortable. Furthermore, the guitar arrived completely unadjusted; and make no mistake, a simple setup won’t fix it—it requires professional-grade work to make it playable, which is very costly.
I also found it to be quite heavy.
All in all, I believe it’s worth paying a bit more to get a guitar with fewer issues. While this instrument is certainly very cheap, it also comes with many serious problems.
