Not white

On the picture it is white and I think it said "white" on the label too but to the rest of the world the piece I got would be "aged white" or "vintage white".

The difference is very clear even on www-pictures when you see them, so this is definitely not the product I was expecting to get.

This is not even the first incident of this kind with Thomann & subcontractors.

Technical side seems OK, but I'll need to find a different place to use it.

I put it on my Gibson SG Standard along with a Bigsby tremolo and both together look fantastic. Although it took a while I didn't have big problems working it up (fretsaw, drilling machine, deburrer and grinding paper).
However since it has only three layers it is not as rigid as the original guard of my SG. I also have to say that for some people it might not look super-high quality either but for me it's great!
Soundwise, it's difficult for me to judge impact of the pickguard since I have installed the Bigsby at the same time... definitely sounds more resonant than before - as intended.
