It`s a muff
I`m not a big fan of big muffs and have tried only three. I don`t know which version this is but it sounds like muff should. Gain/sustain pot doesn`t do very much. It`s always very distorted and sound is kinda "clogged". You can clean the sound little bit with guitar volume pot, but very little. Tone pot works fine and as it should.
I think biggest issue with this pedal is that it lowers the volume even with level pot max. So it eats signal little bit.
Construction is very sturdy and component quality seems ok. No extra noises.
Overall I think this is good for testing do you need/like muff, but if you are really going to use one I would buy something better.

Good pedal
For the price it does what it is supposed to and it sounds good. Can recommend.
