Il
Much better than standard pin
Set a screw drill to correct slip torque and this pin becomes
- Consistent
- Idiot proof
- Silent
- Very quick to install
- Small
- Safe for award truss positions
I'm replacing all standard pins with this version.
The only negative point, the supplied nylon nut is inferior quality and smaller, to standard DIN 985 nut. But it's an easy fix as M8 DIN 985 nut cost only 2 cents a piece, per box, which usually consists of 500-1000 nuts.
Manufacturer did not specify the tightening torque either. From trial and error, I found that 8nm torque is decent.
