Gator GWE-Elec

I'am a bit unimpressed with this case. I understand Gator makes outstanding products for the money but this one feels cheap. I should have spend 15 euros more to get a better case. It still looks nice, is pretty light and doesn't take much room but the craftmanship is underwhelming. Some parts have gaps, other aren't glued seamlessly. The box inside is too big, so it pushes up the guitar neck against the cover of the case which is too padded. You need to press the cover down to close the case. You fear a bit that you crush the guitar inside. Thankfully I was able to remove the box so my strato fits better. I could see that the plywood used for it was in terrible condition. Yeah, even plywood quality can vary.
I hate to say this but the Thomann e-case offers sightly better quality for less money. I will not send back this case for the sake of carbon footprint but if i'd have tried it prior to buy, I'd have spend more money for a better one.

Standard Fender Stratocaster barely fits. With straplocks and a belt - it doesn't fit. Need to get off the belt. This way it feels, but really barely.

The case is 5% flexible. So it can bend a little here and there - seems like it is a good option.

The 'leather' coverage is glued not really carefully.

It is lightweight. Balanced just to carry the guitar.
I put inside my fake fender, 2 m-audio exp pedals, m-vave chocolate, 2 m-vave radio transmitters, strap, capo, tuder, USB long cable, paint audio midi captain (which barely fits and barely closes, hope it won't pull the guitar neck a lot). With this setup it is really unbalanced with the handle. The total weight is 9.75 kg.

Looks not for a long air travel.... The case can be easily damaged or scrapped.... It is for very carefully transportation. I bought bubble wrap tape to cover it to be able to transport by air. Hope they will allow to bring it into cabin.

The best thing is they it has a flat surface - so it can be used as a table deck.

Overall feel is nice. But may be adding 30% to the cost and move internal shape a little bit bigger for a body length - like 2-3cm will help. Make the depth bigger for 1-2 cm will also help, to put inside a pedal board - like paint audio - will help. Add handle line - to be able to balance the handle right - will help. Keep surface flat, but make it more robust for scratches and damages - will also help.
