Going trad
This is a Gator case so it's well made and fits my guitar snuggly at a 41cm wide body with a gap just wide enough to drop the strap into. The internal case dimensions are therefore accurate.
I bought this trad looking case as it sits in my home and a black plastic flight case would offend my eye!
The label says that it can be treated with Scotchguard or similar to keep it clean or left untreated to weather. The cloth covering is tough, well fixed and made from part or whole synthetic fibers.

Glue wears off
The glue used to join together the fabric parts is of poor quality. It dries out and causes the fabric to peel off where it is not sown into something.
