Excellent OD + Booster
The best thing of this pedal is that's actually two separate pedals in the same housing.
There's a clean booster that works great when trying to push a tube amp. Also a very tubescreamer-like OD, works great with strat singlecoils in 90's mode to my ears, and with P90's in wide-asym mode.
The addition of a switcheable true bypass or buffered bypass mode would make it adaptable to any pedal setup. Anyway buffer is great.
It does not exactly sound like a FD-2, so I wouldn't choose it as a direct replacement. It works great for low gain OD sounds for me.
If you want more headroom and volume boost try it with 12V or 18V powersupplies, I found my favorite sound with a 12V supply.
