Good reed esp. as a standby!

Synthetic reeds might not have quite same feel and tone as cane, but I was well pleased with this purchase. After some shaving, it is responsive and plays the same every time. The sound is fine for me (RnB / Rock n Roll) - maybe not for everyone, but worth a try and good as a standby.

Dies sind für mich immer noch die besten "künstlichen" Blätter am Markt. Die Form bleibt stabil und man kann sofort loslegen, unabhängig von Temperatur- oder Feuchtigkeitseinflüssen. Da ich verhältnismäßig eher selten Baritonsax spiele, kann ich mich damit auf ein funktionierendes Blatt freuen, auch wenn ich das große Horn mal für eine Woche im Koffer gelassen habe.
Die Stärkeangaben sind zunächst etwas irreführend. Die Blattstärke 3,5 ist als sehr leicht einzustufen. Die Unterschiede zu 4, bzw. 4,5 sind nicht sehr groß. Man sollte sich also die Mühe machen, selbst auszuprobieren.

je jouais avec des rico royal 3 1/2. Un ami m'a vanté la qualité et la longévité des fibracell. J'ai donc pris une 3 1/2.
j'ai essayé ce matin; c'est un produit froid et décevant. Je suis retourné aussitôt aux bonnes vieilles rico. Je garderai cette fibracell pour les jours de pluie, encore qu'à ce prix j'aurais du opter pour un parapluie. Mais peut être que cet objet synthétique a une âme que je n'ai pas perçue.
