Fender FSR CA STD Monterey BPG NAT

I am extremely disappointed. From the moment I received the guitar and started playing it, it was immediately clear how poor it actually is. It feels extremely dry and stiff to play. The action is incredibly high, and unfortunately this is not something that can be fixed with a truss rod adjustment, as doing so results in excessive buzz. This is a functional issue that would require work on the saddle and potentially more, which I am obviously not willing to do, especially since it may not even solve the problem and could leave me with a guitar that is no longer returnable.

I played it for four hours and quickly came to the conclusion that it simply needed to be returned, which is why a return request was submitted the same day it arrived.

I would strongly not recommend this guitar to anyone.

Ich habe die Fender Monterey erst kürzlich von Thomann erworben. Was soll ich sagen? Die Gitarre hat einen sehr warmen Holzton und sieht atemberaubend schön aus. Die Bespielbarkeit ist hervorragend. Die Bundränder weisen keine scharfen Kanten auf. Der Hals liegt gut in der Hand. Vor allem die große Kopfplatte mit dem Fender Decal an der Westerngitarre ist der Hingucker schlechthin. Schon von Haus aus war die Gitarre gut eingestellt bzw. ich konnte gleich loslegen und ihr ein paar Töne entlocken. Der Sound ist kräftig brillant bzw. hat Charakter. In diesem Preissegment bekommt man keine bessere Gitarre. Ich bin echt sehr zufrieden mit der Monterey und kann sie guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.
