The 300 model in comparison seems to be better, because this one is so thin that it doesnt ring the resonant side properly.
But it will work for a short dry sound very nicely, if that is what you are looking for. I dont fault the quality but the application will be limited.
I used this on a standard 14x6 drumset snare drum.
