Evans DAPCK Drum Key

If you have the money to spare, the DAPCK is a brilliant little key. It makes head swaps take seconds and prevents the desire to grab an impact driver and do some damage to speed up processes. Truly a "buy once, cry once" tool for the lazy. I am lazy and proud of it.

There have been many attempts to improve on the standard drum key over the years, but this is truly the winner.

This makes changing heads an absolute breeze. Now being able to change the heads in half the time it previously, it's no longer a job I dread to do.

The key itself is ofcourse bigger and bulkier than the standard drum key, but you can really feel the quality, and you know it's going to be a product that lasts and lasts. So the pay off for size and cost is 100% worth it.

I would, and have, recommended this to every drummer I know.

This is like reinventing the wheel. It really changes something that seemed to be so solid already. No more drill tool or something. In practice works great and really saves you time. Also it is fun to use

Might be the best drum key i've ever owned. Little concerned that it might not last forever (especially the pull cord) but it makes changing heads super quick and it's comfortable in the hand.
It's a little bulky and also a bit wider than a standard one so i still use another drum key when space is tight.

Price is a bit steep but i think it's still worth it when you take the time savings into account

What an amaising thing to have and not have to bring a drill with on tour and yet be able to switch drumheads at super speed.

This is super useful! Espescially when changing heads or just general tuning. Worth the money
