Expectations met and exceeded
So i bought these for my Harley Benton 458.
Original sound was quite bad on those lower two strings but the guitar didn't cost a lot. "Normal" strings was very much ok. I had expectations that i'd get better sound with 808x. I just didn't know how much. It was a massive increase. Lower strings became much clearer. And i haven't tweaked my amp settings yet. Definitely worth it. The cheap guitar became my fav instrument right away.
Very easy to install after reading the instructions. There is different set of steps depending if you use one or more pickups or the switch for those. For that money it has much larger impact on the sound.

Excellent pickup!
Sounds great (not at all muddy), super easy to install and very affordable. Turned my cheap 8-string into a usable guitar.
