Impossible to complain
I'm starting to wonder when I'll stop compulsively buying OD/Dist/Fuzz pedals...
This pedal is versatile, simple and reliable in it's use, and sounds so unique, alive and touch-sensitive. You can definitely still hear the characteristics of your guitar and amp. Both the Ge and Si modes sound amazing, even if I often find myself favoring the Silicon-side.
Build quality is excellent, like with most EQD pedals.
I use this pedal mainly as a boost (with a little added gain) after my Fulltone OCD. The pairing is marvellous with a Telecaster.
In conclusion : one of my favorite OD/boost pedals, no criticisms at all. Wonderful pedal you can definitely get lost in.

Gives me the exact dirt character I want
This is my second pedal from EarthQuaker Devices (after Easy Listening), and I can say for sure I'm a fan of EQD now.
As I mentioned in the headline, this pedal gives me the dirt character I've always wanted. Not midrangy TS tone or anything like that, but grainy tube-like saturation, and very musical one. On maximum settings it sounds like my amp is gonna explode hehe.
Germanium/silicon diode switch is really appreciated and gives you enough tonal difference. In most cases I prefer silicon as it's brighter and more powerful, but germanium is great for mellow tones.
If you're tired of regular midrange boosting overdrives and want to preserve the tone you already like - I highly recommend Special Cranker. It's affordable, has high quality built, versatile enough, and, while it's subjective, has an amazing design.

Not Impressed
I don't hear those natural nuances and character of the amp. Just a mild distortion that never sounds quite right.
EQD says that this pedal is for people that don't like pedals. Well, I don't like this one.
