Fantastic snare.

I've been playing this snare for almost a year and it is flawless. Really.
It is what we expect from a brand like DW at this price.

When played, one can understand the difference that a high end instrument like this makes. It feels expensive. It feels professional and reliable. There is a "weight" to our playing that makes the drums sound so much better. The snare does not disappoint.

Personally, I like die-cast hoops so I replaced the true hoops but it is a matter of preference. The snare is really good and there wasn't even the need to change the heads.

Best snare that I own and definitely recommended to anyone looking for one with an aluminum shell.
It is expensive but well worth it. Would buy again.
