Pretty much gold standard for monophonic MIDI to CV
I use this super robust steel box to mostly sync clock to my HW sequencers (Mother32, DFAM, SQ1) - I just create a click track in MIDI and direct the Gate Out as sequencer clock.
I also occasionally use this to get velocity and aftertouch CVs for more expressive live playing as well.
This also adds quite extensive MIDI support for DFAM too!
Pretty easy thing to use by figuring out stuff in the front panel even without reading the manual. One thing to keep in mind to use the supplied 12V AC power supply, using some off-the-shelf 12V DC power supply makes 1/V Oct tracking off - this thing needs AC power as it draws from the negative voltage too.
