Timeless classic for any style
The switch is a nice little extra considering the small price difference, but it basically just trades a little gainM/saturation for a little volume. If you have a regular yellow preamp 250, you're not missing all that much.
Just an excellent reissue/remake of the original, excellent for all low/medium gain applications. Doesn't mess too much with your tone, it doesn't cut of boost too much, mostly just adds grit/balls and makes a good souding amp sound like a great sounding amp.

DOD 250 with different clipping modes
Very simple pedal with a very interesting sound profile. Lots of volume and gain on tap. In silicon mode at max it has a very nice almost fuzzy character. The other 2 modes work great as a boost. Asym is definitely my favourite.
