One of the best wooden beaters out there. The xl size is whats needed for 26 and 28 bass drums so you can reach the centre of the drum. A bit heavy and sluggish on the downside, but it certainly rewards you with the sound you get from it. You cant have a light wooden beater sounding this powerful, though
