Great sound

Bought them for a HB TE-52 project. Wanted to try the NYXL series and wasn't dissappointed. Feels a lot better than some slinkies. Sound wise this set seems to be a little unbalanced overall because of a little heavier bottom for 9's. Maybe something that tinkering with pickup setup a little more would fix but changed them to a 1046 set for a preferred personal taste for thicker top end. Can't go wrong with NYXL.

Nothing to complain. Does the job, feels good, last a good while. My go to strings for E-Standard.

Perfect for the E standard, they keep the tuning well after the initial stretching, and the tone stays great for a long time. My go to string set for all Fender scale guitars.

Excellent for a bit of added tuning stability

I bought these on a whim, as I wanted to really see if they did hold tuning better than the standard D'Addario/Ernie Ball sets.

My Les Pauls hold tuning very well, as I have long shaft locking tuners, to reduce the string break angle, I get the nuts cut perfectly by my local guitar tech and don't deck the tailpiece to the body.

All that being said, the straight string pull guitars I own do tend to stay in tune just that bit longer. So, I stuck a set of these NYXL's on and it has improved the tuning on my Les Pauls even more. Anyone who is used to Ernie Ball Slinky's or D'Addario XL's will be right at home with these.

I didn't notice any different in feel, personally.

They're probably overkill for straight string pull headstocks, but definitely great for steeper Gibson headstock headstock angles.

Very happy with them. Will definitely keep buying.
