Perfection!
I bought these for a Warwick bass that I have had trouble getting strings for in the past, they are the right length and I had no trouble getting the low B into the bridge and string saddle. With a bit of adjustment to the bass for the new string type I tried them out and they feel and play brilliantly, a lot smoother than steel strings and much deeper and richer sounding as the bass itself is quite punchy anyways. They seem to keep their "new" tone longer than Ernie Ball and other strings I have tried. I will be staying with these strings in future.

Smooth Performance and Rich Tone
I've been using Daddario EXL170-5SL strings on my bass and I'm impressed with the smooth performance and rich tone they deliver. The strings feel great under my fingers, not too harsh, and provide a solid tone that's deep and rich. I've had no issues with the length, and they fit perfectly on my instrument. Sound and feel awesome!!!!! use these on all my bases because of how good they are, give a solid tone and are not too harsh on your fingers, would buy again!

Excellent sounding and feeling strings
Use these on a G&L L2500. Perfect fit and they sound great and feel really smooth for roundwounds. Highly recommended!

Consistent quality
20 years that I've been using them, and I got only 1 dead-on-arrival string (on more than 100 sets!) which is the best. My luthier recommended me to move to Daddario 20 years ago, and I never looked back!
