Hinta-/laatusuhde kohdillaan
Testasin näitä kieliä ensin yksittäisenä settinä. Omaan makuuni pidän enemmän Daddarion bluegrass-setistä, jossa 1.kieltä lukuunottamatta setti on paksumpi. Materiaali on sama, mutta ero tulee omassa soitossa ainakin selvästi läpi.
- Jos nälkävyötä täytyy kiristää, on tämä setti hyvä valinta. Käyttöikä vaikuttaisi olevan hieman lyhyempi kuin tyyriimmissä malleissa, mutta soundi on terve ja tatsi hyvä.
- Nykyisin ostan tällaisen paketin akustisen kitaran koteloon varakieliksi odottamaan, koska hinta on erittäin kohdallaan.

D´Addario Phosphor Bronze EJ 16
I´ve been a very happy user of D´Addario EJ16 strings for a long time.
Playing Irish/ folk and other.
Playing with Lowden, old Aria, Martin and Takamine guitars lately, I couldn´t be happier.
I don´t remember breaking a string playing live for years.
And we play round 100 gigs per year, 3 x 45 min. gigs, or so.
Of course, good guitar setup helps.
Of course the strings go dull after a few gigs, but with good pickups you forget about it.
Have to change when they eventually loose intonation, which takes a good while of playing.
I get a good price from Thomann.
Very happy here in Finland, don´t have to walk through snow and sleet, they deliver to my door.

Very bright strings
Playing a solid mahogany back/side and solid spruce top guitar, I find these too bright for my tastes. But they do hold up well and are relatively long lasting, so if you're looking for affordable, bright strings, these are good.

Very good acoustic strings
I had used these strings many years and these are very good, soft and nice warm sound. Just bought 3-pack and I am very satisfied.
