Great vintage sound
I put these on a vintage Ludwig 400, they give a great, super-dry vintage sound. Extremely controlled snare buzz, very short sustain. They are probably a one trick pony - these wires are either on or off, with little in between, but if you are after that snappy snare crack you can't get better.
